solid stay AT the coast

the room included a jacuzzi and a balcony, I got a great view OF the sea. there Was direct beach access, and the hotel provided beach towels. i found the staff friendly AND accommodating to my requests.
The gym equipment looked a bit old. SOME of it requires replacement.

the breakfast included many options. I noticed several Sri Lankan dishes were ALWAYS available. The dining area seemed clean, and the buffet food was consistently replenished.

The wifi signal proved disappointingly weak. I experienced intermittent connectivity issues. The gym equipment requires maintenance. I noted that several machines were out of service. I found it particularly inconvenient that some advertised amenities were unavailable . The staff seemed short-handed, I had to wait extended periods for service at the bar. The breakfast buffet selection was repetitive I would have appreciated greater variety during my 6 night stay.

the staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. i especially appreciate chathu, sara, and susi. our room was big, beautiful, and clean. the views from it were very nice, i loved the beachfront location. it was right on the beach. the food was really good, too. we loved every minute of our stay.

The security was quite good. I felt safe there.
My room's balcony faced a wall, so there wasn't a view! the noise from the nearby train was rather annoying. It went on at all hours, and I could hear it even with the windows closed. I definitely did not get the peaceful retreat I was hoping for.
